Shimano SLX SL-M7100-I Rapidfire Plus Gear Lever (Mono) 

 The Shimano SLX SL-M7100 shift lever is characterized by its simple and smooth operation, so that the rider can focus only on the trail ahead. Compared to its predecessor, the SL-M7000, displacement operating force can be reduced by 35%, while access to the main lever is now 20% faster thanks to a smart design. In addition, the rubberized contact surface of the lever ensures maximum ergonomics. 

 The already-familiar I-Spec EVA build of the XTR M9100 and Deore XT M8100 also hit the SLX M7100 components. With this technology, the shift levers can be mounted directly to the brake lever, making it possible to dispense with a clamp and significantly increase the adjustment range. The I-Spec EV allows 14mm for longitudinal adjustment and 60 ° for rotation adjustment so that each rider can make a configuration according to their anatomy or individual preferences. 

 Proven features such as Rapidfire Plus, 2-way release and instant release have obviously been embraced by their predecessor SL-M7100 shift levers. In addition, the Rapidfire Plus Mono left lever for 2-speed systems allows you to change the large and small crown with just one button. The lever is pressed forward with the thumb to shift upward, but does not return later as before, but remains locked in this position. To switch to the small crown, simply release this lock by pressing it again with your thumb or pulling it with your index finger. 

 Instant release allows for faster changes by instantly releasing the cable when the trigger is activated.
