Shimano SLX Cassette CS-M7100 
 
 The Shimano SLX CS-M7100 cassette features Hyperglide + technology, which ensures high speed, precision and smoother up and down shifts and contributes to an extremely quiet power train. The 12-speed cassette is available in 2 versions: 10-45 and 10-51 teeth. 

 The 10 to 45 teeth cassette produces as few gear jumps as possible, while the 10 to 51 teeth cassette covers a wide range of gears. Both versions have an aluminum spider construction and the largest sprocket is also aluminum. This not only reduces weight but also improves robustness and longevity. 
 Hyperglide + 
 
 Conventional Hyperglide technology ensures a smooth upward shift thanks to the small shift ramps that guide the chain toward the next larger sprocket. Hyperglide + also uses this functionality, but applies it in the opposite direction as well, preventing current from dropping downward. The result is a smooth, consistent shift in both directions, vibration free and without interrupting cadence. 
 Micro spline 
 
 The evenly spaced 22-tooth aluminum freewheel keeps the cassette firmly under control for immediate response and also allows the use of a 10-tooth sprocket. In addition, the smaller and compared to the usual Hyperglide freewheel bodies, a longer gear prevents rotor damage.
